Leeuwenboschfontein Guest Farm is an ideal getaway at any time of year, whether in the warmth of summer or the occasional snow of winter. The farm is set between Touwsrivier and Montagu in a valley that speaks to your senses, against the unique landscape of succulents and renosterbos, bordered by breath-taking mountains of the Klein Karoo. The owners have taken great care not to over commercialise the facilities, creating a welcoming farm style atmosphere.
The accommodation comprises of six separate units: Bungalow, De Kraal, Willows Cottage and the original old manor house which is divided into three separate units, namely De Oude Opstal, Bergzicht Cottage and Dalzicht Cottage. There is also an attractive camp site comprising 29 separate stands. Leeuwenboschfontein campsite is situated under willow trees next to a dam. Each of the campsites are equipped with water, electricity and a light point as well as a work surface/table. A spacious shed provides for an alternate campsite should the weather turn against you. The shed is well suited as a venue for functions and includes a large indoor fireplace, showers, toilets and a kitchen. Other facilities at Leeuwenboschfontein include hot water, cloakrooms, toilets, a bathroom with a bath and shower and a camping kitchen.

What does The Bungalow offer?
A snug single-roomed bungalow features a sleeper couch and two bunk beds with a small kitchenette. The adjacent braai and deck stretch out over the water and enable you to fish from there. The only sound you’ll hear is the lapping of water, the song of numerous birds and of course the resident frog choir. This is a spectacular spot to spend some time surrounded by nature. Guests need to bring their own bedding and towels. Otherwise bedding can be arranged at an additional fee.
What does De Kraal offer?
De Kraal is situated within an original old stone kraal from years gone by. With a beautiful design in stone and glass, this luxury two bedroom house offers the best of old and new. (Sleeps 4, bedding is provided). De Kraal will intrigue anyone with a yearning for the past. An indoor braai along with a central fireplace in the comfortable living area offers the ideal spot for relaxation during the cold winter months. A spacious wooden deck overlooks the dam and offers a majestic mountain view – ideal for evening sundowners.
What does De Oude Opstel offer?
De Oude Opstal has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and comfortably sleeps 6 people. ( Extra beds/mattresses can be arranged.)
De Oude Opstal features a huge farm-style kitchen with a braai, as well as a large family room which is ideal for small conferences and seats up to 15 people comfortably. The family room has a built in braai area for informal functions, with Satellite TV for the movie and sporting fans. The house adjoins a large expanse of lawn on which guests can laze and enjoy a glorious day next to the dam. There is ample space for the children to play as well as a lovely jungle gym. Extending off the house is a lapa with a pool, a pizza oven and a braai.
What does Dalzicht Cottage offer?
Dalzicht Cottage is situated next to the Main Guest House. It shares the same luscious green lawns and a large shady willow tree, but still provides sufficient privacy. The cottage is self-catering and can sleep up to 4 people in 1 bedroom. It has a large open plan kitchen and living room which opens onto a private stoep with a built in braai. Bedding is provided.
What does Bergzicht Cottage offer?
Bergzicht Cottage has one bedroom (double bed) and a spacious open plan kitchen and living area with a fireplace. The sleeper couch in the living room can accommodate two children. Enjoy the incredible sunrise, beautiful birdsong, the waterbirds, bluecranes and the wonder of nature. Bedding is provided.
What does De Wilgers offer?
Willows cottage is a renovated farm labourer’s cottage on the edge of the Camp Site. It is a self-catering unit that sleeps up to 6 people. An attached lapa is available for outdoor catering. The cottage offers most modern amenities, including electricity. This is an ideal budget break-away spot for a weekend, especially if you have friends camping or if you enjoy the camping atmosphere but prefer a roof over your head! Filtered water is available for drinking.
What does Chalet 1 & 2 offer?
Chalets 1 and 2 are two self-catering units that sleeps up to 4 people each. The cottages are equipped with a double bed and bunk bed per unit. The units are situated near the edge of a large expanse of lawn on which guests can laze and enjoy a glorious day next to the dam. There is ample space for the children to play as well as a lovely jungle gym. The cottages offer most modern amenities, including a microwave, refrigerator, a small oven and cutlery. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING AND TOWELS. This is an ideal budget break-away spot for a weekend!

Chalets 3 to 6 are four self-catering units that sleeps up to 4 people each. The cottages are equipped with two single beds and a bunk bed per unit. The units are situated near the campsite. Chalets 3 to 6 share an outside ablution block. The cottages offer most modern amenities, including a microwave, refrigerator, a small oven and cutlery. PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN BEDDING AND TOWELS. This is an ideal budget break-away spot for a weekend, especially if you have friends camping or if you enjoy the camping atmosphere but prefer a roof over your head!
What do the on-site caravans offer?
We also have 2 bed and 4 bed on-site caravans that are fully equipped. The caravans share outside ablution.
