With limited cell phone reception, you can truly escape the chaos of everyday life! Just a 90-minute drive from Cape Town, we are the perfect weekend getaway in the beautiful winelands of Robertson along the popular Route 62.

Our affordable self-catering farm accommodation at Boshuisies @ De Hoop Cottages is located on the farm Laaiplaas, nestled at the base of the Langeberg mountains at the end of the De Hoop-Kloof. Only 10 km from town, you are just a short 15-minute drive from all the necessary shops and renowned wine cellars in the valley.

The farm's secluded location behind a large koppie ensures a peaceful and tranquil stay, away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Choose from fully equipped self-catering cottages with all the amenities you need, including electricity, clean bathrooms, indoor and outdoor braai facilities, and wooden decks. Or opt for one of our two equipped self-catering bush cabins without electricity, offering a camping experience without the hassle of setting up a tent.

What do the Boshuisies offer?

"Die Boshuisies"
Situated privately in a kloof - for the more adventurous who wants the camping experience without pitching a tent.

Die Boshuisies are 4-sleeper self-catering wooden cabins, each with an open plan living area and a bedroom. No electricity - only gas facilities. No bedding or towels are supplied.

The ablution block is situated about 70 metres from the cabins and gives access to a private bathroom for each cabin (fitted with flush toilet, shower, hand basin) and a communal scullery. Gas geysers supply hot water.

Indoor and outdoor braai facilities with braai grid and braai tongs.
Wooden deck.
Double bed in the bedroom.
Bunk bed in the living area.
No bedding or towels provided.
Kitchenette with gas cooker top, gas fridge, pots, crockery and cutlery.
Preferably a high ground clearance vehicle (not necessarily 4x4) is needed to reach "Die Boshuisies".
