Montagu Caravan Park
Description
Nestled in Montagu’s tranquil Winelands village, Montagu Caravan Park offers a serene escape. It lies on the R62, just 160 km from Cape Town, halfway to Oudtshoorn. Moreover, its prime location makes it a perfect base for exploring nearby Ashton and Robertson. For example, visitors can enjoy “padstalle,” arts and crafts, hot springs, dried fruit shops, and wine cellars like Van Loveren, Bon Courage, and Viljoensdrift. Viljoensdrift also offers popular boat cruises. Set in an apricot orchard, the park boasts stunning Cogmans Kloof Mountain views.
The park features grassy, level campsites ideal for motorhomes, caravans, and campers. Each site has electricity, and modern ablution facilities ensure comfort. Additionally, a laundry provides token-operated washing machines and dryers. For non-campers, fully equipped self-catering chalets are available. Meanwhile, kids stay busy with biking, super-tube slides, swimming, fishing, or paddle boating on the dam. The dam teems with carp and tilapia. Furthermore, the park offers indoor heated and outdoor pools. Ultimately, Montagu Caravan Park welcomes families, ensuring fun for all ages.
