Montagu Caravan Park is serenely situated in the quaint and peaceful village of Montagu in the heart of the Wine lands. Ideally located midway between Cape Town and Oudtshoorn on the famous R62, only 160 km from Cape Town. The Resort is ideally positioned as a base to tour the surrounding area (Ashton & Robertson are close by) where you can visit "padstalle", arts & crafts stalls, hot mineral springs, dried fruit factory shops & excellent wine tasting cellars like Van Loveren, Bon Courage & Viljoensdrift which is famous for their boat cruises, just to name a few. Montagu Caravan Park is situated in an apricot orchard surrounded by breath taking panoramic views of the Cogmans Kloof Mountains.
The campsites is well-laid-out, grassed & level for motorhomes, caravans & campers. Electricity at each site and well-appointed ablutions facilities. On site is a laundry with a token-operated washing machine and tumble dryer. For those travellers touring without caravanning & camping, we offer excellent fully furnished and equipped self-catering chalets. Children are kept busy riding bicycles, sliding down the super-tube, swimming, fishing, paddle boating on the dam or just having fun in the recreational area. The dam is well stocked with carp & tilapia. The park offers indoor heated & outdoor swimming pools. Montagu caravan park is a family park where young and old can enjoy themselves.

What is your pet policy at Montagu Caravan Park?
Dogs allowed with prior consent of management. Not more than 2 small breed dogs. Dogs are always restricted to the owner's site, but may be taken around in the park if on a leash. Any complaints of nuisance or noncompliance of the rules, the owner will be responsible to remove the dog without compensation.

43 Sites are paved. The rest are grassed sites.

Ons het 3 dae gekuier by die kamp. Dit was absoluut amazing gewees. Vanaf inboek tot uitboek was alles net reg. Vriendelike personeel en n pragtige oord. Geen wonder hulle het ‘n LekkeR Kampplekke approved bordjie nie. Die oord is gemaak vir rus.
