Description
TO Strand Holiday Resort is situated in a small, picturesque town named Leisure Bay, only 26km south of Margate and 10km north of the Wild Coast Sun. The resort borders on the beach, which makes it an ideal breakaway holiday destination for our members and for private guests. That it is peaceful goes without saying and we are proud of our clean and safe semi-private beach, which is watched over by lifeguards during weekends and during the season. There are also shark nets, which makes it a safe area to swim. The resort forms part of a greater conservation area and many types of birds and small wildlife can be spotted on the short walking routes through our subtropical forest.
The resort can accommodate +-1 100 guests in 63 self-catering chalets and 141 spacious stands for camping. We also have two Rivertents (Rivertent 1 is a normal tent & Rivertent 2 is a “Glamtent”). The campsite has two ablution blocks, which are serviced daily, each stand is provided with water and power points. We are proud of our three-star grading, especially considering that we are one of the bigger resorts on the South Coast. We also have a modern conference centre, equipped with Wi-Fi, air-con and audio-visual facilities.

Do you offer long stay camping at TO Strand?
Long term camping is only for 2 people. The booking may not exceed 3 months
• 1 month/2months/3months packages must be paid in full before arrival
• The tariff for long term packages will be adjusted if it runs through a long weekend and / or a season period.
Directions to TO Strand?
Travel south on N2 freeway, which becomes the R61 after the toll booth at Port Shepstone. Continue on the road to Port Edward, by passing the Trafalgar, Palm Beach, Munster, Glenmore and Leisure Crest/Leisure Bay North (Kingfisher Avenue) turnoffs. Take the Leisure Bay South Torque Avenue turnoff, left towards the sea. Where the road forks, take the right path; it is signposted “TO Strand”. Carry on straight and take the first left; it is signposted for “TO Strand” as well. At the bottom of the road is a T junction, turn right and the TO entrance is in front of you.
What do the self catering chalet offer?
Chalets – 5 beds - Double bed in the main bedroom, two single beds in a separate bedroom and a sleeper couch in the living area.
Chalets – 4 beds - Double bed in the main bedroom and two single beds in the living area.
Air-conditioning. Limited DSTV channels. Equipped with linen, crockery and cookware. Built-in braai on the stoep. Cleaning supplies, washing-up and drying cloths and toiletries must be provided by the guests.
