Spitzkop
Description
Spitzkop is a livestock farm in the Moordenaarskaroo and offers spacious camping sites on the tree-rich banks of the Buffelsrivier. This campsite is ideal for large and small group camps as well as private campers. A big "donkey" makes sure that there is hot water for the showers, and wood is provided for the donkey's stove. Nice dry braai wood is for sale and with advanced arrangements, lamb meat can also be provided. Sheep, cattle, kudus, duiker, grey rhebuck, springboks and other smaller game roam freely and guests may even spot them around the tents. Guests can also explore the farm on foot, bird watch or explore 1 of the offroading routes. Our neat roads are even suitable for mountain bikes. Spitzkop can easily be reached via a dirt road with a bakkie, SUV or any vehicle with high ground clearance. The farm is about 60 km from Matjiesfontein, 60 km from Laingsburg and 70 km from Sutherland.
