Sabie River Camp
Description
Sabie River Camp is a family-friendly resort on the Sabie River, near Sabie town in South Africa. It's the perfect place to stay if you want to see Sabie Falls. You can stay in self-catering tents, including some on stilts, or safari tents with their own bathrooms and a small kitchen.
If you prefer camping or caravanning, they have grassy sites with electricity. They also have clean shared bathrooms and a communal kitchen.
Besides accommodation, the resort offers a heated rock pool, a cold water pool with a beautiful river view, an open-air bar, and a fun mini-golf course. It's just under four hours' drive from Gauteng and the OR Tambo International Airport, and it's a short drive to Kruger National Park.
Sabie River Camp is in a stunning location in the Drakensberg mountains and is a great place for a family holiday in nature.

What do the Tents on stilts offer?
The Tents on Stilts are 4-Sleeper units. Standard Tents, pre-erected on stilts and wooden platform, with access to communal kitchens (with electrical appliances) and impeccably clean and modern ablution facilities. All linen for the beds are supplied, but you have to bring your own cooking utensils, crockery & cutlery and towels
What do the 6-sleeper Safari tents offer?
The Safari Tents are 6-Sleeper units. Pre-erected on a solid foundation and boast a well equipped kitchenette (complete with a bar fridge, 2-plate gas burner as well as all utensils needed for self-catering - NO Microwave). Double & single beds come with comfortable mattresses and linen. Luxury safari tents sleep six people in an open-plan setup and each tent has its own en-suite bathroom and braai area. All linen for the beds are supplied, but you have to bring your own towels.
