Ruah Camping

Ruah Camping is a small campsite on a working table grape farm in the Hex River Valley, near De Doorns. The setting offers raw natural beauty with mountains, streams and wide open views.

The campsite suits camping trailers, bush caravans and vehicles with higher ground clearance. Sites are grass-covered, some with shade, and overlook the river with views towards the valley. Each stand includes a built-in braai area. A clean communal ablution block provides showers, toilets and washbasins.

Although swimming is not allowed at the weir or in the reservoir, campers can cool off in a natural rock pool about five minutes’ walk along a trail. Visitors can jog, cycle or take a relaxed walk across the farm. A less-used trail near the pool leads to a San rock art site and a few more pools for peaceful reflection or rest.
