Description
Roratau Bush Camp gives five large tent or caravan sites for those seeking a rustic camping experience, complete with basic needs such as a 6-amp power outlet. Additionally, each site is conveniently located near a water point, ensuring easy access. Moreover, you will have the luxury of enjoying your own private braai area. In walking distance a communal ablusion with 2 family bathrooms consisting of a double shower, toilet and basin. Single shower and toilet also available.
Wash up area just around the corner. For entertainment or relaxation we offer a pool to cool off and experience the most amazing sunsets. Bosvark campsite is large enough for 2 caravan’s with private ablusion and braai. Vlakvark campsite suitable for a group of 4 caravan’s, completely private with own ablusions, boma and shaded splash pool.
The name Roratau, meaning the place where the lions’ roar. This is ideal as guests will be surrounded by the unique night sounds of lions, hyenas, jackals, owls and more. The camp is home to a variety of buck such as kudu, red hartebeest, blue wildebeest, blesbuck, zebra, giraffes, and warthogs, and can be seen from the tents. Various walking and mountain biking routes are available, and game drives can be arranged on request.
We also have 5 Luxury tents with en-suite showers and fully equipt self-catering kitchens which accommodates 2 to 4 guests. Come and enjoy the peace and harmony of the bushveld and experience the beautiful sunset over the mountain while relaxing in your own private tub and enjoying a sundowner drink with friends and family around the fire place. All the tents have their own shaded parking next to the tent for your convenience.

Do you have glamping tents available?
Guests have a choice of 5 tents with electric fencing; the 2-sleepers Kudu and Zebra or the 4-sleepers Blesbok, Blouwildebees, and Rooibok. The 2-sleeper tents are furnished with queen-size beds, while the 4-sleeper tents contain queen-size beds, as well as 2 single beds. Each of the tents also has an en-suite bathroom with a shower, and for convenience, linen and towels are provided. Guests please need to bring their own swimming towels.
Each of the tents has a kitchen that is equipped with a 2-plate stove, a fridge, as well as the necessary cutlery and crockery; please note the units do not have microwaves. Braai facilities are available at each of the tents next to the private hot tub, which is solar-powered. Shaded parking is available at each of the tents. Wood and charcoal can be bought at the camp.
