River Edge Accommodation

River Edge accommodation offers Self-Catering Cottages and campsites in the Breede Valley on the Breede River. At River Edge accommodation, you are surrounded by mountains that turn pink at sunset, vineyards stretching to the horizon, fynbos alive with small wildlife, and the Breede River on your doorstep – and yet you are only an hour away from Cape Town. 2 Private group campsites: Camp Chloe and Camp Megan.

Each provide two ablution blocks and four sites for caravans/camper-trailers on the river’s edge. Each campsite is fenced, so your pets are welcome to camp with you!! The whole campsite is yours, whether you are 2 or 20 people!  No other people sharing bathrooms or the camp area! Only you and your friends! Hot, wood fired splash pool at each campsite. The kitchen and covered braai. Ideal for the colder, windy weather. Unfortunately no Eskom power after the recent flood. Solar power to be installed soon. Please note that the basic rate is for the first 8 guests, thereafter you pay per person extra!!

Jana Wild Camp
This group campsite, Camp Jana, is for the adventure camper with their 4×4 trailer/caravan. High clearance vehicle/4×4 needed! You need your own gear! Provided is a flush toilet and a fireplace and no shower. The basic rate for this campsite is for the first 6 people. This site has 3 stands in the mountain next to a crystal clear mountain stream. Breath-taking views and ombre sunsets! Pets are welcome, but keep in mind the site is not fenced.
