Preekstoel Camping, Caravan & Self-Catering Resort is practically on the beach and offers travellers 404 camping plots, 16 self-catering units and a youth hostel which can accommodate a total of 60 guests. The venue also has well maintained ablution facilities, clean grounds and direct access to the Blue Flag Beach. The Preekstoel beach yields Blue Flag Status and is a popular visitors point as you’ll be able to see the historic Preekstoel rock formation on the beach – over the years, the Preekstoel rock formation has deteriorated due to the movement of the ocean tide. Long, lazy beach days and the enjoyment of mocktails are the order of the day at Preekstoel. The Resort is also affiliated with the Western Cape Resort Association.
