Ons Karoo Plaas is located on a small working farm in a peaceful Karoo valley, just off the R323 between Laingsburg (50 km) and Seweweekspoort (23 km). It’s the ideal escape from busy town and city life.

The location is well-positioned for scenic drives to places like Seweweekspoort, Calitzdorp, Ladismith, Anysberg, Laingsburg and Bosluiskloof. The R62 route via Seweweekspoort is easily accessible too.

The campsite offers seven spacious stands, perfect for tents, caravans, trailers and motorhomes. Each site includes a grassed area and shade netting to create a cooler outdoor space during the hot summer months.

Each site allows up to six people and includes space for one vehicle. A standard 3-pin power socket is provided, along with shared water access.

Campers have access to clean, well-maintained ablution blocks with separate facilities. These include toilets, showers and basins, with high-pressure gas geysers supplying hot water throughout the day. The ablutions are centrally located for convenient access from all stands.

The Backpackers room features 4 single beds each with fresh linen and towels. Guests do not share the room with strangers. The unit makes use of the central ablutions block that is fitted with showers and toilets. The showers make use of gas geysers for hot water. The room also has a small electric hot plate for the kettle.

What does the Kudu Tented Glamp offer?

The Kudu Tented Glamp comes equipped with 2 single beds or 1 king size bed. The unit makes use of the central ablutions block that is fitted with showers, basins and toilets. The showers make use of a gas geysers for hot water. Other in-room facilities include a fridge/freezer, cutlery, crockery, single ring electric stove and kettle. The unit also has an oscillating fan.

What does Klipspringer Glamping offer?

Klipspringer Glamping is a fixed caravan with an attached undercover canvas-walled outside dining area. The caravan and canvas section are both under sheet roofing for protection from the elements. Klipspringer can accommodate up to 4 guests, and is ideal for a family of 2 adults and 2 small children. Inside the caravan is a double bed, and a dining area with 2 benches that folds into a second double bed, ideal for 2 children. There is a privacy curtain between the 2 beds. Inside the caravan there is also a bar fridge, gas stove, cutlery and crockery, and a sink with cold running water. The outside canvas enclosed section has a 4-seater dining table and chairs, and 2 wooden chairs. Klipspringer has a large garden area with a braai drum. A braai grid is provided. Klipspringer will have shared use of separate ladies and gents ablutions facilities with toilets, showers and washbasins, and gas high pressure geysers.

Baboon Ridge can accommodate up to 4 guests and is ideal for a family of 2 adults and 2 small children. Inside the caravan is a double bed on one side, and 2 couches that can be converted to 2 separate single beds on the other side, ideal for children. The 2 single beds cannot be pushed together. There is a privacy screen between the double bed and the single beds. In the privacy tent/dining area there is a single bed. Inside the caravan, there is also a bar fridge, gas stove, cutlery and crockery, and a sink with cold running water. The outside canvas-enclosed section has a 4-seater dining table and chairs, and 2 wooden chairs. Baboon Ridge has a large garden area with a braai drum. A braai grid is provided. Towerkop Glamping is a large caravan with a Meranti wood cottage attached. This spacious unit can accommodate up to a maximum of 6 guests. Inside the caravan section is a double bed, and a single bed. Inside the Meranti cottage section, there are 2 single beds and a futon-style sleeper couch. In the cottage section, there is also a kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge-freezer, gas stove, combination oven and microwave, cutlery and crockery, a sink with hot and cold running water, and a dining counter with stools. There is also a small dining table. Attached to the cottage is a rustic outdoor en-suite shower with a toilet and washbasin. Please note that access to the en-suite is via the lounge or guests can also make use of the communal ablutions. Outside, there is a covered patio with seating and a built-in braai, where you can enjoy views of the farm, over the Klein Swartberg mountains and towards Towerkop.

Karoo Nessie Glamping is a unique small caravan enclosed in a wooden cottage. Karoo Nessie can accommodate up to 5 guests. Inside the caravan section there is a double bed, and a single sofa that can be converted to a bed. Inside the wooden cottage section there is a comfortable double sleeper couch. The en-suite bathroom comes fitted with a shower, basin and toilet. Other facilities include a kitchenette, a dining area and a braai. The Wi-Fi signal is very weak in this unit and can be better accessed walking up to the residents lounge.
