The permanent Luxury Glamping tents are fully equipped for a self-catering holiday. Our luxury tents include a built in braai area on the veranda so wether there is a summer storm or a frosty winter evening you can enjoy a braai Our luxury tents sleep up to 5 guests in two sleeping areas and are ensuite (shower only).
The beds come with linen. NO TOWELS are provided – we suggest that you bring a swimming towel as well as bath towel. In each tent we have tried to support local artists - kitchen backsplashes are decorated by local artists or products brought from local crafts people. Even the keytags are created locally. Each tent has the same layout but furntiure and finishings differ.

If you are looking for a more authentic camping experience - we still offer our mobile Glamping Option. These safari tents are pitched on any site in the resort (inlcuding the camping sites with private ablutions). This means that you can Glamp next to your camping/caravaning friends! The tents contain beds with linen and we set up a basic camp kitchen under the fly sheet. Each tent can have up to 3 beds and for a family of 4 or 5 we would set up two tents on one site splitting the beds between the two tents. The beds come with linen. NO TOWELS are provided – we suggest that you bring a swimming towel as well as bath towel.

We have five Maluti Log Cabins and one purpose built log cabin available for self-catering holidays. Units 97 -100 boast spectacular mountain views. All units are serviced once a day and are fully equipped except for towels. Winter is a wonderful time of year to visit the Central Drakensberg. Days are usually sunny and mild (so perfect for hiking, mountain biking and enjoying various outdoor adventure activities). Evenings are fresh and mornings crisp after a night-time visit from Jack Frost – so staying warm is important! All our beds have electric blankets to make sure you are cosy all night long. This winter we installed wood fire stoves in all the units and units 98 to 100 also have split aircon/heater units.
