Description

Liefdood Campsite offers a welcoming escape to the quiet heart of Boesmanland. Just 21 km from Kenhardt in the Northern Cape. Liefdood Campsite is a remote and peaceful bushveld retreat where you can leave the rush of everyday life behind and reconnect with nature. Set beneath magnificent old camel-thorn trees, our campsite offers 18 spacious camping spots, each with firewood provided so you can settle in, light a fire and enjoy the simple pleasure of a star-filled Karoo night.

Liefdood Camping offers unique busses for travelers to stay over.  With wide-open spaces, silence and rugged beauty all around, Liefdood is the perfect place for travellers looking for an authentic, off-the-beaten-track experience. We have 6 toilets and showers, with hot water supplied by our traditional donkey boilers, keeping things simple, practical and wonderfully in keeping with the character of the area.

Your four-legged companions are welcome too! For those wanting to explore beyond the campsite, join us on a fascinating tour to prehistoric footprints and a remarkable quiver-tree forest, where the ancient landscape tells stories stretching back thousands of years. Come for the adventure, stay for the tranquillity, and leave with memories of wide skies, crackling campfires, ancient landscapes and the unmistakable magic of Boesmanland. Liefdood Campsite, where the road less travelled leads to something unforgettable.
