Escape the city at Klipspruit River Resort, right on the stunning Vaal River. Just 2 hours and 20 minutes from Gauteng, you can camp, park your caravan, or rent a chalet or cabin. Enjoy breathtaking sunsets by the river. If you want activities, we have you covered. Bird watching, kayaking, hiking, and fantastic fishing await.
For families, Klipspruit River Resort have ample space for your kids to have fun with pools, putt-putt, waterslides, and more. Our caravan park is nestled among trees near the river. Each site has electricity and a designated braai area. Ablution facilities with showers are conveniently nearby. Some sites are right by the river, while others are 30-70 meters away. Each site accommodates 4 guests and one vehicle. Additional vehicles can be accommodated for a fee.
For the adventurous, we have a bush camp amid the bushveld trees with its own ablution facilities. Some sites are along the river. Join us for a memorable getaway!

What do your chalets offer?
A chalet is a unit with a bathroom, a small lounge and a fully equipped kitchenette. Some of our chalets have open plan sleeping areas and some have separate bedrooms.

What do your cabins offer?
You love the rustic weekend getaway but are not a fan of camping: then our cabins are ideal for you. A cabin is our wooden units with open plan sleeping area and a fully equipped kitchenette. Each cabin has a stand alone braai available.
Ablution facilities are within close walking distance or you can book a private bathroom with your own key for the weekend.
