Your Questions & Answer

What do the campsites offer?

In the middle of our bush, we have hidden campsites for real adventurers.
This is perfect for people who travel with rooftop tents, overlanders or any avid camper – accessible by any type of car.

Every site has its own braai place, so no need to put your meat on a gas stove. Wake up with the sunrise, surrounded by Nyalas and other bush animals. There is a central electricity switchbox, an ablution block with shower, toilet, basin and dishwashing facilities.
Here you will have the real African Experience!

What does Poppy Caravan offer?

This is how we roll! Meet…Poppy. A caravan given a new lease on life at Hluhluwe Bush Camp, with a gorgeous bohemian-hippie theme. Poppy has a fridge and stove in the kitchen, with 2 small double beds with fans on either side of the interior. Stepping outside, you look out over the bush from your shaded deck and can enjoy the sunset while you braai at your private BBQ area. Hippie life equals happy life!

What do the Adventure Tents offer?

The Adventure Tent is versatile – it’s the tent for people who don’t normally “do” camping, but also for those that do. It’s for the real adventurers who could use a little bit of extra comfort. It’s also suitable if you need extra accommodation for large groups.
The tents are fully equipped with electricity, a small fridge, gas cooker, pots, pans, towels, sheets and their own outside bathroom with toilet. It’s a more luxurious way of camping.
The Adventure Tent has two comfortable beds which can also be converted into one big bed, and a terrace with a view over the bush with your own parking spot right at your site. For the extra outdoor experience, we have an ablution block with sanitary facilities.
Both our Adventure Tents have their own BBQ – this way there is no excuse to skip the famous South African Braai.

What do the Tipi Tents offer?

A splendid addition to the Hluhluwe Bush Camp glamping family: The Tipi Tents! These Native American inspired tents are both comfortable and spiritual. The Tipi tents are very comfortable and can fit two persons (2 large single beds or a double). The second tent is our Boutique Tipi – perfect for 3 people, with the 3rd bed a mattress on the floor. They are fully equipped, which means they come with electricity, a large braai area, an outside table, four chairs, laundry rack, equipped camp kitchen including a fridge, towels, linen, fan and so on. The spectacular view of the grazing animals and borders of False Bay park make these tents very unique. The tents combine luxury with a real outdoor experience. During your stay in a Tipi Tent, you can use the funky ablution block for and have private parking at your site.
