Whether you’re pitching your own tent beneath open skies or arriving in a fully equipped vehicle, our spacious campsites offer comfort without compromising the outdoors. Each site caters for four to six guests and includes practical essentials such as electricity, lighting, and private braai facilities, while two secluded off-grid stands provide the perfect escape for 4×4 adventurers seeking a truly unplugged experience. Prefer a little extra comfort? Choose from our elevated safari-style dome tents with real beds and crisp bedding, book the exclusive bush camp for a private group getaway, or indulge in one of our cozy glamping pods – designed for two and complete with an en-suite bathroom and kitchenette for effortless riverside living. May I play music during my stay at Fish Eagle River Camp?

We have a no music policy, good for fishing, private campers, birdwatching etc

What do your campsites offer?

We offer 10 shaded, grassed campsites, each comfortably accommodating 4–6 guests. All sites have access to electricity (3-prong plug point; 2 amps during peak season and up to 10 amps out of season), lighting, and private braai facilities. Selected campsites include water points (Sites 1–5) and some enjoy beautiful river views.  Guests share clean communal ablutions with hot water showers, wash-up sculleries, a river deck and river boma, as well as a jungle gym for the kids.

For those with 4×4 vehicles seeking a completely off-grid experience, we also offer two non-electrified campsites.

What does your glamping pods offer?

We offer two private glamping pods, each designed to accommodate a maximum of 2 guests in a queen-size bed. Every pod features an en-suite bathroom with a shower, a small kitchenette (microwave, bar fridge, coffee station, and sink), and a comfortable table-and-bench seating area.

Guests can enjoy their own private boma with braai facilities, satellite WiFi, gas geysers for hot water, and supplied linen and towels — perfect for a cosy and convenient riverside escape.

 

What does the Bush Camp offer?

Our Safari Camp is booked for exclusive use and comfortably sleeps up to 6 guests. It features three fully equipped safari-style dome tents (2 twin beds and 1 double), complete with bedding, towels, bedside tables, and lighting.

The campsite offers braai facilities, a fire pit, a scullery for washing up, and electricity (3-prong plug points in each tent). While there is no hot water at the Safari Camp itself, guests have full access to the shared ablution block and communal facilities within the main camp.

Basic kitchenware, cutlery, and seating for six are also provided for a convenient and comfortable stay.
