Breede Escape River Camps

Take N1 from Cape Town, through Worcester and Robertson to Bonnievale.

We are very popular with smaller groups.  Any amount of guests from 1 to max 30 are welcome.

The Exclusive Camp (for camping) accommodates a maximum of 30 guests or less, maximum space for 10 camping trailers or caravans.  The camp is right on the river bank – with lawned camping areas and open spaces and shady areas with old trees.  There is a jetty with a pool step into the water.  The spacious thatched roof area with an indoor braai is for the private use for you and your group.  Tables and chairs are supplied, but bring camping chairs for sitting around.  The kitchen work space has washing up facilities and there is a freezer (no fridge), electrical kettle, induction plate with a pot, and microwave for you to use.  Hot water and electricity is available.  There are two bathrooms, 3 showers, 4 toilets and 3 hand basins.  The two tiny thatched huts inside the camp is also included in the base rate (bring own bedding & pillows).  There are ten plug points for camping trailers, tents or caravans.  DSTV premium optional extra (please book in advance).  Wood and ice available at an extra cost.  Bedding and pillows for the single beds in the tiny huts can be booked at an extra cost.  No Wi-fi, but cell phone reception.  The area is fenced.  We are pet friendly, we just need to know what breeds and numbers please.

The HutCamp(thatched glamping, not luxury ), accommodates a Max 2 adults or 3 families.  The camp is right on the river bank with lawned areas around the camp, but apricot pips between the huts – come enjoy the open spaces and shady areas with old trees.   There is a jetty as well as two kayaks that are shared with other camping guests at single stands.  Campers enjoy the campfire spot for your private use next to the lapa kitchen area.    The thatched lapa kitchen area has an indoor braai.  Cutlery, crockery, glasses, potjie pots, braai grids, braai utensils, dishwash and dishcloths are supplied.  Guests have their own enclosed kitchen / lounge area with your own bathroom.  The kitchen has a freezer, fridge, electrical kettle, induction plate with pot and microwave.  Hot water and electricity.  One bathroom with bath, 2 showers, 3 hand basins, 1 toilet, each hut with own toilet as well.  Six thatched huts each for 2 adults or one family, 1 toilet and small hand basin inside the hut.  DSTV premium optional extra (please book in advance).  Wood and ice available at an extra cost.    Bedding for double beds can be booked at an extra cost.  There is no Wi-fi, but we do have cell phone reception.  The area is fenced.  Pet friendly, we just need to know what breeds and numbers please.
