Khotso Lodge and Horse Trails

Khotso has always been about getting outside, and what better way to get outside than to camp with friends and family in the Southern Drakensberg.

Pack your bags and load up the camping gear. Spend a weekend, week, or longer on the farm surrounded by mountains, horses, and good vibes. Enjoy our grass sites with access to a fully kitted-out outdoor kitchen, hot showers, braai stands, and electrical points. Catch up with mates while walking, running, hiking, or even cycling our trails. Take a dip in our mountain pools, and when the Mzimkhulu River is high enough, go tubing down the river. Grab a lekka coffee from Balam River Deck, just a short walk from your campsite. Explore Khotso on horseback guided by our experienced grooms. The views are gorgeous, so don’t forget your phone or camera to get a few good shots!

Wake up to the sound of the nearby stream. Feel the sun through the canvas and hear kids zipping past as they play outside. By evening, set that fire going, crack that beer, and take a look at the stars.
