Description
Middelberg Guest Farm is a functional Karoo farm which is situated near the R318 road towards Montagu, 40km from De Doorns. It is beautifully tucked away in a hidden fold in the mountains, off the beaten track, and offers visitors an idyllic escape from city life. The campsite is a few kilometres from the farmyard, over the hill on a 4x4 track through stands of large Protea bushes and other pristine fynbos. The secluded campsite is shaded by birch trees on the bank of a small riverbed and the six individual sites are level and covered with lawn. The charming ablution blocks are neat and comfortable. Well-mannered pets are welcome by prior arrangement, as the campsite is fenced in. The campsite has its own clear water swimming pool with panoramic mountain views. There is no electricity or cell phone reception, so campers truly do escape from their busy lives while they enjoy the peace and tranquility of this beautiful, unspoilt spot.

Do you offer selfcatering?
An old shed at the farmyard has been converted into accommodation for larger groups. It is a single room-dormitory that accommodates up to 32 people in sturdy bunk beds and also has two private double rooms. This facility has a large, well-stocked kitchen and a spacious stoep as well as neat and comfortable bathroom facilities. This facility is ideal for events for large groups of people such as school camps, team building outings or event celebrations.
