The Eland unit is a forest hut tucked away in the indigenous wild olive forest on the edge of the dam, overlooking the Langeberg mountains. It is one of the new units and the most popular. This unit is very spacious with an open plan kitchen, living area that walks out on to a deck and outside braai area.The kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge, little stove and a fireplace. The Chalet is a thatched roofed cottage, and overlooks the green valley facing the Langeberg Mountains and the lake. Sleeps 6 people, but only 4 adults. This unit has two bedrooms that are equipped with two single beds and a double bed. The loft has two single beds for kids. The open-planned kitchen is well equipped and contains a fridge-freezer and a microwave, a stove as well as built-in cupboards. This unit is situated very close to the milking parlor and farm yard with the lovely farm noises. It is not at the dam. This unit with its neighbouring Kalfie unit was the calf housing area in former days, converted into accommodation.
