BreedeOewer
Description
Are you tired of the rat race? Need to take a break? Along the banks of the Breede River is the escape you have been looking for. Come and listen to the silence of nature and take a breath of fresh air. Watch the cattle and horses grazing. Enjoy a stroll along fields of wheat, barley and canola. We are 2 hours from Cape Town. Only 15 min from Swellendam. Turn off the N2 and follow the 3 km gravel road. Our diverse campsite lends itself well to any and every type of camper out there who wishes to be one with nature. There are 3 separate bathrooms and an extra toilet. We allow a maximum of 40 people at the campsite at any specific time. The camp sites do not have access to electricity but freezing facilities are available at reception. WOW! What a stunning destination with such awesome hospitality from the owner and his family! Every little detail has been thought of from canoes and life jackets offered at arrival to a few pieces of wood, “stoking the donkey” for us to enjoy a hot shower and informing us that drinking water, ice and wood can be bought right on the farm. And what a treat to give the farm chicken, goats and miniature ponies some dinner. We loved our little weekend away here in this beautiful setting and will definitely be back for more very soon!
