Breede Otter River Camp
Description
Breede Otter camping is about 90 minutes' drive from the Cape side and about 20 minutes' drive from Worcester, on the Scherpenheuwel road. The owners really put a lot of effort into making it as pleasant as possible for campers to camp there. The camp is on the banks of the Breede River and the lush green lawns are a sight to behold. The ablution facilities are also great. The ablution facilities have spacious showers and there is even a large bathtub with ball and claw feet. Besides the showers there are 2 family bathrooms also available. There are separate ablutions for men and women.
The Campsite is basically divided into 3 parts, namely the Main Camp, the Bush Camp and the Colganscamp. The Main Camp at Breede Otter all have electricity and are ideal for larger groups who. The Forest Camp has 5 riverfront campsites - ideal for the camper who would like to come fishing. The sites in the Bush Camp do not have electricity. The Colgans camp has around 50 sites - all with electricity. There are braai drums available. A big plus point of this campsite is the nice relaxation in the river. The foefieslide is of course the best thing next to school break for the children.

Onlangs (weer) daar gekamp. Baie baie lekker!

Great Campsite, no swimming pool but the one part of the river has a beach and very shallow water for the small kids to play in. Plenty of fishing. Really enjoyed our time there and will be back. Ronel and Oom Dawie( Aka Errol Flynn when on his bike) are the owners and helped by their son. Would definitely recomend.
